With the holiday season quickly approaching, it’s hard not to think about fall comforts and winter delights. The beautiful autumn leaves falling from the sky quickly changing to big fluffy snowflakes. Large family meals with loved ones, turkey & pumpkin pie, parties and presents. Holiday joy filling our hearts and homes. The holidays are a happy and exciting time for most of us. Unfortunately, this can be an extremely stressful time for local families who have endured hardships throughout the year.
Through Glimmer of Hope, our goal is to make it a bit easier for local families who may be struggling to provide gifts and other essentials for their children this Christmas.
Over the past several years, we have been able to help many families in the southeast Iowa area by providing much needed necessities such as; clothes, bedding, shoes and personal hygiene items… and of course a special toy for each child. This year our goal is to help even more families, but we need your help!
